The Signature Roll Up - Wrap 'N Roll

We’re two weeks into June and I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the weather so far. Summer weather will always be my favorite because it always leads to more outdoor events and activities, which also includes more food trucks. I’ve been seeing a lot more food trucks pop up recently and last weekend, I had the chance to try a new one called Wrap ’N Roll.

Wrap ’N Roll is a food truck whose specialty lies right in the name. Their menu consists of a variety of wraps, burritos, and egg rolls, and there are plenty to choose from. The truck was at Ten7 Brewing Company last weekend, so I decided to swing by and check it out. At the top of the menu was the Signature Roll Up, which looked like a good place to start for a first-timer. As I was waiting for my food, I had the opportunity to chat with the staff for a bit, all of whom were very friendly. Wrap ’N Roll is a quick and efficient food truck because I think I had my food in just under five minutes.

The Signature Roll Up is a very unique wrap because it contains an egg roll within a wrap. On the very inside of the wrap is a cheesesteak egg roll, made up of shaved ribeye, fried onions, and cheese. Surrounding the egg roll is grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella, crushed kettle chips, and chipotle aioli. Let’s start with the egg roll. I love a good cheesesteak egg roll and this one reminds me of a classic Philly cheesesteak that’s full of flavor. The egg roll is the perfect size for this wrap too because you can taste the cheesesteak with each bite. I knew this wrap was going to be unique, but I can’t tell you how amazing the cheesesteak egg roll pairs with the surrounding chicken and mozzarella. I’ve had my share of chicken cheesesteaks before but the flavor from combining chicken, ribeye steak, and the different cheeses is incredible. The crushed kettle chips are a nice addition too and add an extra crunch. Adding chips to a sandwich or wrap is an underrated move and this wrap is a great example of why more people should try it. All in all, the Signature Roll Up was a great way to learn what this food truck is all about.

If you haven’t tried Wrap ’N Roll yet, I highly recommend checking them out. They have plenty of unique wraps, burritos, and egg rolls to choose from, and the Signature Roll Up is a great place to start, especially if you’re hungry. You’ll find Wrap ’N Roll throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties throughout the year, so check out their Instagram to see where you’ll find them next.
